If It Isn't Measured, Did It Happen?

The social adage says, "If there are no pictures, it didn't happen." For financial wellbeing programs, the pictures are data. BrightPlan's quarterly guided programs close with proof: the share of employees who took action, set financial goals, and grew more confident about how they manage money.

Financial Progress Looks Different for Every Employee

Your workforce shares common personal financial goals, but progress takes a different shape for each individual. Some employees are building stability. Others are navigating debt, preparing for retirement, or working through a major life event.

For each employee, progress begins with one clear next step. BrightPlan partners with employers to deliver globally consistent financial wellness programs that meet employees where they are and guide them toward goals they set themselves. Employers gain stronger business outcomes across the workforce, plus evidence of impact they can bring into leadership conversations.

Outcomes Measured by What Employees Do

Program success shows up in behavior. That's why every BrightPlan program closes with an exit survey covering satisfaction, financial actions completed, goals set, confidence gained, and  changes in how employees manage their finances. As an early innovator in financial wellness benefits, BrightPlan has learned a lot from behavioral data, and puts those learnings to use in the tools we offer.

using aggregated and anonymized data.

Satisfaction scores show employees embraced the experience itself.

Employees changed their financial behavior.

Action and goal-setting rates show that engagement turned into real financial movement.

Human Guidance When It
Matters Most

Every program has defined start and end dates, so employees can see their progress from week one. Each week asks for three to four targeted actions that take about 30 minutes, so progress builds through small, doable commitments. Engagement runs highest when support is tied to specific decisions inside a defined timeframe.

When an employee's situation gets more complex than any digital tool can resolve alone, the program routes them to a certified human advisor. The AI Coach keeps employees moving day to day, and a qualified human advisor steps in for the decisions that need one.

The Domino Effect: Debt Management and Retirement Planning

What does a BrightPlan program look like from the inside? Our most recent program, The Domino Effect, shows how every program is built: four weeks, two paths, and one chain reaction. It launched September 1, 2026, and asked employees to take one self-paced step per week, each about 30 minutes.

Built around real circumstances. Employees paying down credit card balances and employees calculating retirement income need different sequences, content, and definitions of progress. So in week-one, participants chose the path that fits their situation:

  • Clear the Table for employees carrying debt, moving from a full view of their finances to payoff strategies with staying power
  • Build the Chain for employees focused on retirement, moving from clarifying goals to expert guidance and lasting momentum
AI-That-Leads-the-Way

Four steps, from opening week to close:

  • Place the first domino: participants choose a path and make an opening commitment.
  • Map the progression: they take inventory of their current circumstances through data and visualization.
  • Build the blueprint: they turn personal financial data into an action plan.
  • Keep the chain going: they follow through with curated resources and program incentives through the close.

Every BrightPlan program follows this same model: a clear timeframe, small weekly actions, content matched to each employee's situation, and measurable results at the close.
